DJ Classes – Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

  • All classes must be booked in advance through the website.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

  • Payment methods accepted: PayPal, credit card, bank transfer (upon request).

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled class will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class are non-refundable.

  • In the unlikely event the instructor needs to cancel, students will be offered an alternative class date or a full refund.

3. Attendance and Punctuality

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, entry may not be permitted and the class fee will not be refunded.

4. Equipment Use

  • equipment provided for use: pioneer xdj rx2, headphones and usb.

  • Students must treat all equipment respectfully and responsibly.

  • Any damage to the equipment caused by negligence may result in repair or replacement fees charged to the student.

5. Travel Fee

  • For classes conducted at a student's private location, a travel fee may apply depending on the distance from keysborough, 3173 victoria.

  • the mentor will reach out to you during the booking process to confirm the travel fee which must be paid along with the class fee.

  • If the location is more than 10 km away from keysborough 3173, an extra $1 will be charged for each additional kilometre traveled (for both the trip there and back).

    e.g keysborough to malvern (26km distance)
    26km - 10km = 16km (one way excess distance)
    16km x 2 = 32km (both ways excess distance)
    32km x $1 = $32

6. Liability

  • The instructor is not liable for any injuries, loss or damage to personal belongings incurred during the classes.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to behave respectfully toward the instructor.

  • Any disruptive, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the class without refund.

8. Media Consent

  • From time to time, photos and videos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes.

  • By participating, you consent to being photographed/filmed unless you opt out in writing before the class.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Course materials, playlists and class content are the property of spinlab and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

10. Changes to Terms

  • spinlab reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Students will be notified of any significant changes.
